Since 1975 Joe has been creating unique woodwork using trees from the forests, plains, yards and parks of Montana. He has learned technique and craftsmanship through daily practice and credits his arts education to the time and space of Montana. He says the visual language of his work is inspired by the beauty hidden in each stick of wood and observing the interaction between creative humanity and passive nature. "The pieces in this show are mosaics made from pieces of burl, limbs, bits of board and firewood I just couldn’t burn. Hidden gems I have been collecting for almost fifty years."
The show runs April 1-30, 2021 Hours - Open 10-6:00 Mon-Fri. 10-5 Sat and Sun.
