The power of calligraphy is that it unites the meaning of the written word with the beauty of the visual arts. My inspiration comes from favorite quotes and passages, the natural world and the 26 wonderful shapes of the alphabet.

I have studied and practiced the art of hand lettering since 1988 and have been a professional calligrapher and teacher for the last 20 years. Private lessons are available upon request.
