I live in the woods of Northwest Montana near scenic Glacier National Park where I create my jewelry of wildlife and whimsical designs that reflect the natural world of the mountains and coastal Northwest that inspire me. I’ve done artwork and design all of my life, just for the love of it, and in 1990 decided to make it my living. My jewelry has evolved over the years, but has always reflected the things I love, and the things that make me laugh; wildlife, animals, the mountains and the sea, music, and a good cup of coffee or a great glass of wine shared with friends. Each piece is a unique work of art that I hand cut from sterling silver, decorate with stones and Sterling mystic symbols, and finish with a patina, creating the warm tones you see on my jewelry. The unpredictable nature of the patina process is just a part of the serendipity that goes into each piece of Serendip Designs jewelry. The Silver Swirls are a new line. Making them is like doodling with silver. So much fun to make! I like keeping my business small so that I can focus on the artistry that goes into each piece of jewelry. When not creating jewelry, I enjoy painting, kayaking, and gardening.
