There are 3 ways for local and regional artists to participate in The Artists' Shop
1. Consign your work with our gallery
We are always looking for local and regional art that is original and creative to complement our current offerings. We operate on a 60/40 split, with 60% of the retail price going to the consignor. Click the button below to download the Consignment Application form
We often have shows by outside artists in our beautiful show space. These shows open on the first Friday of the month, and are celebrated with our participation in Missoula's popular First Friday Gallery Night. If you are an artist with a body of work and are interested in having a showing at The Artists' Shop, please contact us via email at [email protected] Please send your bio, photos of your work, links to your website and social media pages, and any other pertinent information.
3. Apply to Become a Working Member
We periodically have openings for new members, and are seeking artists currently creating work that show creativity, originality, and mastery in a medium for inclusion in an active registry of potential new partners.
A cooperative is a unique business structure, and we encourage you to consider these requirements for membership before submitting a resume:
All work must be created by the applicant, representing one artistic medium
Members are responsible for their own display and inventory maintenance
You must work retail shifts in the store, usually 3 days a month.
You will be assigned responsibilities fort at least one committee and must attend regular Board meetings
There is a one time $300 fee upon acceptance
Members pay rent (currently $100 per month) and 5% of sales to The Artists' Shop
