Wooden Images was partnership of brothers Mark and John Bakula. We started doing our woodwork together in Missoula, MT back in 1982.
John retired in 2020 leaving me to create everything by myself. Having outgrown the small garage we started in, I am now located in the Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana. Each piece created has its own unique and distinctive look. By combining a wide variety of woods and then carefully joining them, each piece becomes a one of a kind work of art. I pride myself on meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail; and feel it shows in the beauty and durability of each piece I make. There is just one guy and some power tools.
